Miley Cyrus decided to open up to Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show recently, and revealed some stories from her home life that may shock some of her fans.

Talking about her weed habit, she revealed that she's not the only one in the family who smokes the herb.

She told Jimmy Fallon, "My mom's a big stoner...

"I remember when I started smoking weed, she thought I was like growing little horns and just becoming the devil and now she smokes more pot than anyone I know."

She told Fallon that both of her parents smoke weed together sometimes, and that they "play with these humming birds" together.  "It's very sweet" she added.

Talking about the recent wild fires that raged though Malibu, Cyrus said that she was touched by the community spirit involved in helping to "rebuild such a magical place."

She added, "When you remember things you loved and lost, whether it's photos, or old Elvis records or something my dad's given me, it doesn't make it easier...

"But being able to go back, rebuild this together, be stronger together ... it's given a really beautiful light at the end of something pretty dark."

Miley revealed that her fiancé Liam Hensworth was the one who rescued her pets during the fires.

"Liam was an amazing hero" she said, adding "He got out all the horses, the pigs, seven dogs, four cats. It was really sexy to me..

"I was like, you got pigs and horses and cats and dogs! He was kind of, he was trying to make me feel better because I wasn't there.

"He's Australian, so he's a little intense..

"He goes like this, 'Babe, I'm just dominating the evacuation! Look at it, I got the pigs in the back, they're in the crates!"
Fallon then played a game of name that tune, and was amused when Cyrus failed to guess that the band was playing her own track 'Party in the USA.'
